The Best Free Golf Book You Don’t Know About – “Encyclopedia Texarkana”
If you spend anytime in the forums at GolfWRX.com, there is a good chance you have heard of the infamous “slicefixer.” He has a cult following on the GolfWRX forum due to the great advice he gives to fellow forum members. Even with a busy schedule as a teaching professional, Geoff Jones (aka “slicefixer”) has answered the questions of countless golfers through the GolfWRX forum as well as through Youtube where he posts swing videos of his students.
The man gets paid for his knowledge of the golf swing yet he freely helps anyone who seeks his help online. To me, that is the sign of an instructor who loves to teach for the sake of teaching.
If that’s not enough, Geoff Jones has written an e-book called “Encyclopedia Texarkana” that is freely passed around through the net. After downloading it myself, I found the e-book to be a wealth of golf knowledge. It has become one of my favorite golf instructional books and I find myself referencing it as much as “Hogan’s Five Lessons” and “The Golfing Machine.”
