There is a certain mystique around Ben Hogan and his beautiful golf swing. He probably has the most analyzed and obsessed over swing of all time, and for very good reason. The man was an unbelievable ball striker and there are few others who have owned their swing the way this man did.
Youtube is chalk full of videos featuring Hogan’s swing, but the link below takes you to a truly unique video showcasing a medley of hogan swings in a rather trippy and psychedelic manner. I think this video is a lot of fun and a great post for a post Super Bowl Monday.

Can a former long drive champ become an internet golf guru? That’s exactly what Monte Scheinblum is trying to do, and it seems to be going well. Monte has gained popularity by posting video lessons on Youtube wearing cargo shorts and a t-shirt. His casual attire is not the only thing bringing him attention. Monte believes in simple swing mechanics and looking at the golf swing as a whole instead of breaking it down into pieces.

One of the most popular instructors on the GolfWRX.com forums right now is a gentleman from Australia who goes by Martinez. He’s very active in the forums and has give a lot of great info out to those who car to read it. He is extremely knowledgable about the golf swing, and has been experimenting with a new way to think about and feel the golf swing. These two videos below are only the start. I’ll be posting his other videos in future posts.
Mikes Maves, also known online as “Sevam1,” has become a very popular golf instructor thanks to his devotees on the popular golf forum, GolfWRX.com, as well as the popularity of the two videos below. Mike is a fellow Canadian, like myself, who is about as passionate about the game of golf as anyone I’ve seen. He’s written an e-book called, “The Secret In The Dirt,” and has also been working with of the best swings on tour; that of Steve Elkington’s.
Mike’s instruction videos are very laid back. It’s pretty much him, and his buddy, hitting some balls by the lake, and talking about why guys like Ben Hogan and Moe Norman had such great swings. These videos are full of great information that might just help you understand the golf swing better.
